FLOWER CARE
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR (CUT) FRESH FLOWERS
- Carefully remove the wet pack (if it's in a paper wrap)
- Cut approx 1 cm off the base of the stems on an angle
- Place in a vase with clean, fresh water (ensure no foliage is submerged in water)
- Keep in a cool area away from direct sunlight
- Re-cut stems and change water every 2-3 days
- Water Level - most flowers would love a lot of water (high water level) except for soft stemmed flowers such as tulips, calla lillies, poppies, ranunculus and gerberas, as too much water could make their stems mushy. For soft stemmed flowers, fill only a third of the vase with water.
A fresh cut helps flowers drink water more effectively.
